“ Food excellent, especially the pizza. Stromboli, man the large is huge. Last a couple of days! Recommend this restaurant. ”
“ Pizza was very tasty. We had group of 16 soccer girls and parents and there was separate room in back for girls and plenty space for parents. The pizza was served quick and tasted very good. They serve beer and the bathrooms were clean. ”
“ My co-worker and I have been spending a fair amount of time working in Winston-Salem. Trying out new places for a meal definitely breaks up the monotony. We happened upon this particular Mario's towards the end of the week. It was so good that we went right back 2 days later. A very low-key, comfortable, and relaxing vibe was what we found. The staff members were exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was very well maintained, as were the restrooms. Everything was handicap accessible. I'm from Philly, and my co-worker is from NY. We tried the pizza, Stromboli, Philly Cheesesteaks, and the Cajun seasoned fries. All of these menu items exceeded our expectations. The pizza had a thin crust and plenty of toppings. The Stromboli came with sauce and cheese, and you picked 3 additional stuffings to complete your order. There was not a single vacant space left inside. The Philly Cheesesteak came with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. We chose to add some extra cheese as well. The roll was toasted with a nice crunch. But the inside was soft enough to hold everything together. Suffice it to say that we were both very impressed with our orders. “ I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express (Miller Road) and was craving some Italian food. Mario's is a few hundred feet from the Holiday Inn Express and decided to give it a try. I had the chicken parmesan and it was AWESOME!! It came with a garden salad and garlic knots! Bigger than expected portion sizes and everything tasted really fresh. I'll be coming back when I'm back in Winston-Salem! ”
